About Federico
I stand at the intersection of law, economics, and technology, working to build the institutional infrastructure of the digital age.
As the founder of Kleros, I created the world’s first decentralized arbitration protocol. Today, my work focuses on designing hybrid systems that combine AI with decentralized human judgment to redefine the rule of law for an algorithmic society.
As a global educator on Coursera, I’ve guided over 120,000 students through the legal and institutional implications of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
My work has been presented at Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford, and recognized by the United Nations and the European Commission’s Blockchains for Good prize.
